The Tree Fort unit at WitzOb offers the perfect blend of comfort and nature. With three bedrooms—a queen and two singles—the space is as cozy as a house, yet immersed in the natural environment. Though each room is the size of a large tent, they’re equipped with fans, power, and protection from the elements, ensuring you’re never at the mercy of weather events.
Need more space? We’ve got you covered with room for additional tents under the palapa, which is outfitted with power for fans and phones, a TV, and a roof that shields you from rain and sun alike. This is luxury you simply don’t find in standard camping.
Designing for Belize’s Climate
After six years in Belize, we’ve learned that while walls aren’t always necessary, a roof is essential during the intense rainstorms. And during the hot season from April to July, shade becomes your number one need. That’s why our Tree Fort is nestled among the trees, offering natural protection from the sun, and our tents are set up on elevated decks under palapas, keeping you safe from biting ants and the scorching sun.
Our dining area, hammock palapa, and guest office space are all on decking to provide you with the comfort and luxury you deserve while relaxing at WitzOb. Here, you’re not just camping—you’re experiencing the best of nature without sacrificing the comforts that make it enjoyable.
